Wow very neat! Hey, out of curiosity I have always been told if you are going to handle octopus, to do so with bare hands as neoprene acts in a caustic manner to their protective lining. I see it appears you have a hold of it with what looks like a neoprene glove. Do you (or anyone else) know if this is true?

Dive_Girl, I've recently heard this is bogus..and that octos simply don't like the 'taste' of neoprene, which is why divers often remove their gloves - to have a better chance at a close encounter 
You shouldn't have told us this was a little one...it looks HUGE in the photo! Nice use of perspective!
